Bobcats come up short against Gray Wolves
The USCAA B&SC men's basketball team hit the floor at the Russell J. Ebeid Center to start off the 2024-25 regular season on Saturday night, as the Bobcats came up short at Lourdes University in a 71-76 loss.
10 Bobcats saw action on the floor, as B&SC shot 49.1% overall as a group and got scoring contributions from 9 players. Tareeq Roper led the way with 17 points, followed by Greg Thurman with 16 points.
Phillip Byrd & James Moore led all rebounders with 8 a piece while also chipping in 8 points each. 8 Bobcats contributed to rebounding in total. The Bobcats connected on 10 three-pointers shooting 62.5% behind the arc, tallying 14 assists on the day. Tareeq Roper led the way with 5 assists, with 9 Bobcats having at least 1 assist on the night.
The Bobcats now prep for their next game at Wilberforce University this Wednesday October 30th.
