Men's Basketball Wins on Sophomore Salute Day
Big Win for Sophomores
Saturday, February 22nd was a special day for Bryant & Stratton athletics department as the Bobcats celebrated the first ever Sophomore Salute. Parents and family members gathered to celebrate with one another and were able to enjoy a terrific win against Clark State Community College. The game was played in Geneva, Ohio at St John's High School. The Bobcats started five sophomores to begin the game. The Bobcats were able to build a 12-0 lead by converting easy buckets off turnovers committed by the Eagles. The Eagles were able to cut the lead to six midway through the first half, but the Bobcats defense was too much to overcome. The lead eventually grew to double digits at the close of the first half.
De'Sean Reed led the way for Bryant & Stratton with 22 points on 8-17 shooting, and 6/6 from the charity stripe. Davonte Craven had a big night with 19 points.
Next up for the Bobcats is Sinclair Community College on Wednesday 2/26.
