It was an action-packed week for the Bryant and Stratton – Ohio Bobcats, as they notched a solid 3-1 record in conference play, proving their mettle away from home. The Bobcats made the trip to Lorain Community College and Terra State, and they didn't disappoint, earning a sweep of Lorain before splitting their doubleheader against Terra.

Offensive Firepower: Amis, Gerken, and Wimbs Lead the Charge

Sophomore outfielder Jack Amis put on a clinic at the plate, going an impressive 6-for-10 across the five games. He crushed two doubles, drove in five RBIs, and showcased his speed by swiping 6 bases. Amis' ability to get on base and be a constant threat on the basepaths helped propel the Bobcats' offense in key situations.

Freshman third baseman Hudson Gerken was another key contributor, slashing 6-for-14 with 6 RBIs. Gerken's consistent hitting and ability to drive in runs came up big, especially in the Bobcats' high-scoring games. Meanwhile, sophomore outfielder Dylan Wimbs had his share of big moments, finishing the week 5-for-12 with two doubles, a triple, and 6 runs scored. Wimbs proved to be a table-setter, getting on base and creating havoc with his speed.

Pitching Dominance: Balser and Cody Shining Bright

Not to be outdone, sophomore Nick Cody had his own complete-game gem against Terra State, fanning an impressive 9 batters while also holding the opposition scoreless (0 ER). The Bobcats' pitching staff showed resilience all week, with both Balser and Cody setting the tone for their team's success.

With the victories this week, the Bobcats now sit at 12-14 overall and 5-5 in conference play. It's been a rollercoaster season, but the Bobcats are showing signs of putting it all together and becoming a force to be reckoned with as the season continues.

Up next, the Bobcats will take a break from conference action for a non-conference doubleheader on Sunday, April 6th (originally scheduled for April 5th). After that, they'll resume conference play next week with key matchups against Owens Community College and Clark State.
