Game 1: Bobcats Jump Out to Early Lead, Cruise to 10-4 Win
The Bobcats wasted no time making their presence felt in Game 1, with an explosive first inning that set the tone for the day. A pair of three-run home runs from Brody Puchmajer and Gavin McLane ignited the offense early. Puchmajer's blast was followed shortly by McLane's first career college home run, giving the Bobcats a commanding 6-0 lead before the game even settled into a rhythm.
Puchmajer wasn't done yet, though. The sophomore went 2-for-4 with 3 RBI, adding a double later in the game to cap off his strong day at the plate. McLane also had a stellar performance, logging a triple to go 2-for-4 with 3 RBI of his own.
On the mound, Talib Al-Zakwani made his college debut as the starter, earning the win in his first career start. The freshman kept Delta College's offense in check, earning a solid performance on the hill to help the Bobcats secure the victory.
