Tri-C Men's Basketball moves to 13-3 on the season with 106-93 taming of Bobcats

The Tri-C men's basketball team rolled to their 2nd win of 2023 with a 106-93 defeat of the Bryant and Stratton Bobcats.  With the victory the Tops move to 13-3 overall and 3-1 in the OCCAC.

The first half proved to be very competitive as the Tops held a 47-40 lead at the break, but proved too much for the Bobcats in the second half.  Devin Haid led all scorers with 26 points and also had 10 boards for his double-double, but the story of the game was the balanced scoring as 7 Tops scored in double figures.  Manny Hill had 19, Tallice Landers had 14, Donovan Coffey had 12, Nekhi Smith had 11 and Jordan Persad and Tyler Montague each had 10.  Coffey also added 4 assists, 4 deflections, and took 2 charges to energize the Tops bench.

Tri-C shot 56.3% from the field and also made 16 of their 18 free throws.

The men are back in action on Saturday, January 14th as they will travel to Edison State for an OCCAC matchup at 1 pm.  The game can be watched live a tEdison State Athletics - YouTube
