Bobcats Athletics Obtain New Practice Facilities
Basketball, soccer and baseball will look forward to training in the new spaces
SOLON, OH- The Bobcats will now have the benefit of training at two new facilities as students are welcomed back to campus.
Firstly, Bobcats soccer and baseball will now train at CAPS Fieldhouse, located in Valley View. Caps is equipped with batting cages, designated weight room area, and a 100 yard by 65 yard full sized indoor turf field.
According to the CAPS website, the mission of the complex is to provide Northeast Ohio with the opportunity to enjoy sports, entertainment and fitness in a family-friendly environment.
Men's and women's basketball will also have a new scene for practice and training as they will have Reminderville Athletic Club at their disposal. Located just five miles from campus, the RAC sits off of Liberty Road, and athletes will have the ability to use two full sized basketball courts, weight rooms, and a swimming pool.
The athletic department is thrilled about the change, and will look forward to utilizing the facilities for all athletics in the months and years to come.
"Bryant & Stratton is excited to move into the new state of the art facilities." Athletic Director Dwayne Morrow said. "We are super excited to be partnering with them for our athletic program, it'll help and push all athletic departments forward."
