Bio

Steel played 2 seasons of softball & basketball at Mercyhurst Northeast from 2013-2015. After her JUCO campaign she played 2 seasons at Mercyhurst University from 2015-2017.

At Euclid HS, Steel received 6 varsity letters, excelling in basketball & softball. She was district female student-athlete of the year for 2013.

Steel’s freshman season at Mercyhurst Northeast she was 2^nd Team All-Conference. Following that she was 1^st Team All-Conference her sophomore season. She led the Saints to the regional conference championships where they won in 2014. Steel was a 1,000-point career scorer & helped led Mercyhurst to their best season ever going 24-8 in 2016-2017 season. Following her college career Steel played 2 professional seasons in the WABA for the Cleveland Blaze from 2018-2020.

Steel received her Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts from Mercyhurst Northeast. Following she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Mercyhurst University. Lastly, completed her Master’s Degree of Social Work from The University of Akron.
