Bethea Wins High Jump

Once again, the Bobcats track team took on tough DI opponents this weekend at the University of Akron Collegiate Invitational. Sammie Bethea took home 1st place in the men's high jump. "I feel real good about it. I told coach. Took a whole year off after an ankle injury. When it comes to college, I'm gonna do my thing. Coach gave me bands and a jump rope to build up my ankle after the injury. I am wearing different socks, and they are thicker. Coach has been helping me alot with mechanics in the air. I told coach after not finishing in the hurdles. Now we have to win this one. And I did." Sammie Bethea
